Team Camp Philosophy

Team competition camp gives high school wrestling teams the opportunity to gain competitive experience by competing together as a team in dual meets and activity challenges. Our team competition camp is a great way to increase team unity which can greatly affect team success during the regular season. Individuals seeking a competitive camp experience are also encouraged to attend. The Team Competition Camp is designed to help improve team unity with all counselors trained in techniques to increase team unity.

Team Camp Features

  • Coaches are encouraged to attend, but not required
  • Coach attends free with 10 wrestlers, additional coach free with 15 wrestlers
  • Teams of 10 or more compete as a team, otherwise they will be assigned to other teams
  • Clinicians will oversee and critique individual matches and serve as coaches if a coach does not attend
  • Each team is assigned a counselor as an assistant coach
  • Awards for top teams
  • Strength and Conditioning Education
  • Psychological Skill Lectures

6:00-8:00     Dual Meets
8:00-10:30   Swimming, Videos, Recreation
10:30-11:00 Bed Check & Lights Out
